In early 2023 I went to watch Peterborough United play our arch rivals Cambridge at their stadium, where the pre-match soundtrack was a selection of the absolutely most obvious pre-match soundtrrack songs you could imagine, notably "Ready To Go" by Republica. "Someone should write something to replace this," I thought, "as I have heard it about 10,000,000 times".
Luckily for me the match itself was profoundly rubbish so there was nothing much to distract me from thinking up this song, which I recorded a couple of days later. I'm pretty sure Republica's massive hit started life in this way, so let's buckle up and set the controls for Arena Ubiquity!
